We were outside hanging her nappies to dry and I squealed "Maya! Smile for mama!" and a series of redonculously cute expressions unfolded. A few neighbours walking by saw this and stopped to say hello to our baby girl. I've lived in this neighbourhood for almost 2 years now and haven't really met any of my neighbours. But since Maya's arrival just about everyone that sees her comes up to us to say hello. Children bring people closer, children inspire people to break down barriers and follow their heart. Thank you baby girl for all the new friends I've made. Your presence brings more love into my life every single day.
