We are here at least once a week and I almost never bring my camera because it get's in the way of exploring and tuning everything out. But Maya's Nana Ypie has been asking for an updated portrait for her gallery wall, so we took a few pictures today as we spent our morning in the forest.
Dear Maya - You are so spectacular and generous. Today is a day I am going to remember forever and ever. You just seemed so grown-up, kind, funny, just incredibly loving and beautiful. And tall! You are getting so tall. Here's to you blossoming away to no end and your mama getting to witness something very special. It's so crazy that sometimes I allow myself to forget the absolute joy that is getting to be a part of your childhood. But you always remind me so beautifully.
